Youth Education Internship
Education | Program
Fundraising Goal: $32,500

This proposal provides funding and offsets support costs of one interpretive internship in the Division of Interpretation. This internship program provides structured professional development opportunities for college students and recent graduates that will enhance their interpretive and technical skills, provide an improved understanding of visitor services and interpretation within the National Park Service, and aid in creating the next generation of park stewards. Interns participating provide transformational opportunities for park visitors and area youth by conducting a range of visitor services and developing resources while gaining the necessary skills, knowledge, and experience to prepare them for careers in the National Park Service.

Register Roundup

Education & Interpretation | Program
Fundraising Goal: $20,000

Every time you make a purchase at a park store inside a visitor center, you are directly supporting Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Proceeds from our retail stores help fund a wide range of park programs and priorities. But there’s an easy way to do even more: simply round up your change at the register.

Your spare change supports curriculum-based education programs, in-park children’s events and curriculum-based field trips and outreach programs in local communities. These experiences create meaningful moments that can spark a lifelong love for the natural world.

So, next time you’re in a park store, remember that your purchase supports the parks, and your change helps inspire the future.
